REFUNDS & RETURNS POLICY

Overview

This policy applies to all purchases made from Fitzroy Bullion and complies with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Your statutory rights are not affected.

 

Bullion Products

Gold, silver, platinum, and other investment-grade bullion products — including all bars and coins — are exempt from cancellation rights under Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This is because their prices depend on fluctuations in financial markets that are outside our control.

Bullion prices are locked at the time of order confirmation. Once confirmed, bullion orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded due to market movements or a change of mind.

If a customer cancels or fails to complete a confirmed bullion order, Fitzroy Bullion reserves the right to recover any market losses, price differences, and reasonable administrative costs incurred as a result.

 

Non-Bullion Products

Most non-bullion products purchased online may be returned within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition as received
  • In their original packaging
  • Accompanied by all original certificates and accessories where applicable

To start a return, please contact us at sales@fitzroybullion.com with your order number and details of the item(s) you wish to return. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

 

Damages, Faults and Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us as soon as possible if an item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect. We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in line with your rights under UK law.

 

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, and items must be sent via a secure, tracked, and insured service. Fitzroy Bullion will cover return shipping costs only where an item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.

 

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome. If your return is approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow time for your bank or card provider to process and post the refund.

Please note that refunds may be reduced where handling has gone beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods.
