Every piece of gold jewellery sold by Fitzroy Bullion is hallmarked by a UK Assay Office, guaranteeing the purity of the metal as required by the Hallmarking Act 1973. Hallmarking protects buyers by providing an independent, legally binding confirmation of precious metal content.

All jewellery is subject to VAT at 20%, included in the price shown. Jewellery sold as a personal possession for under £6,000 is exempt from Capital Gains Tax under the chattels exemption.
